    “To Whom Ever may Read!
I’ve just purchased this Ins. plan, under the guidance of Joseph. I specifically stated my needs,IE. Dr. visits covered, prescriptions covered, and all major medical.

Joseph assured me this would take care of my needs. He also stated, when I specifically ask concerning prescriptions, all generic meds would cost between $4–$10/month.

I picked up a prescription on 01/11/2013,at a local CVS, using this ins. The cash price to anyone was $86.00. My cost was $86.00!

I’m already questioning the validity of this Ins.Co. Are they just another rip off for us to deal with??

    This Ins. paid nothing!”

  3. Katie says:

“I was contacted by a broker for these people when I entered my information on CoveredCA to enroll in affordable health care. My contact info was snatched by “”someone”” and I got a call directly to help me with my needs. I thought “”how helpful and timely- not at all what I heard””. Got enrolled, paid enrollment fee. Got a call from Advocates for America to help with my prescriptions/labs.

Also got enrolled in a life insurance package I had not requested (and told them to cancel). I was told that my coverage would be provided for one fee every month. But those other two had charged me additional $59.95 and $47.85. And Optimum One Health is NOT an insurance provider.

Have been told since I called to cancel these “”plans”” past the first 30 days (in fact, it was about 45 days)that absolutely no refund is due to me. So, I have been suckered, and I am out $700- and I’m sure not the only one these days.

Stay on the line with CoveredCa and don’t go through this!!!”

  4. Sandra Waters says:

“This company does not deserve even one star.

I cancelled my policy the next day after reading all of the bad reviews. They did not cancel the so-called Life Insurance policy part and kept taking money out of my bank account each month.

This is an on-going fight and they will not refund my money. I am tired of leaving messages. Please do not waste your time with these people.”

“Why can’t you find a number for these people. They out and out lied to me about the insurance my husband got, said it was insurance and not a multi-program. That it would pay for blood work and stuff.

They are scamming people. And we thought sub lenders were bad these people fit right up there with them. My advice is DON’T BUY INTO OPTIMUM ONE HEALTH THEY ARE FRAUDS. Will be contacting my State Attorney about these people.”

  7. Ann says:

“I had no choice if I wanted to keep the Dr. my daughter was seeing to choose this insurance. I ran out of a medication that my daughter has been taking for years and they said that they had to have a pre-approval letter before filling it.

My Dr. sent the information in that they wanted but they claimed it was incomplete. They claimed they filled it the first time out of courtesy but refuse to do it again until they get the information they need.

If I could switch back to who we had before. I would in a heartbeat. Molina is NOT a very good insurance company to have. Would not even rate them if I could.”

  8. Gail Starr says:

“I had the same experience as Katie (see her review from Jan. 2014) I went online(submitting my name and number) to get insurance from Obama Care. I immediately got many phone calls and one was from Optimum One Health and it was all very confusing.

After signing up I felt a pit in my stomach, and now 60+ days later, and a yelling match on the phone, I am out $170 enrollment fee and another $82 in fees for my 1st month dental and RX.

My policy was to start 10/1/2014 and I cancelled 9/29/14 but they say the 30-day free cancellation started Aug. 22nd the day I called. They are very shady and I need to learn to listen to my gut reaction. I guess I’m lucky to only be out $152 although I am still waiting for a check.

Obama needs to clamp down on these shady characters that get our contact information from contacting the Marketplace.”

“If there were minus star I certainly would have used the emblem. They reel you in, promising false coverage..then you will receive your online pdf file of actual coverage..which is virtually nothing. Can you imagine what $250 will buy you in ICU ?

Do not even entertain these companies come on ..they are a scam ! Ken Delva was the rep that lured me with false quotes.”

“We were also quoted by Ken Delva and he assured us we were getting a much better plan. When we got the plan cards and plan description we immediately called and canceled but now we can not get our old plan back and it has been 10 days! We are with no insurance and no call back from Ken Delva!

    Run for the hills!”
