Midstates Health Insurance Corporation is actually known as Mid-State Health Center and is located in New Hampshire. Frederick S. Kelsey is a graduate of Pennsylvania State College and focuses on critical care medicine, among other areas of special interest at the Mid-State Health Center. He is joined by David S. Fagan who studied at the University of Maryland and also joined by Venkata M.K. Purimelta who studied in India.

  • Family

Diane L. Arsenault received her medical license from Dartmouth College and focuses on everything from pediatrics to dermatology in regards to family medicine. She is joined by Alan E. Rosen who graduated from Rutgers University, who specializes in cancer screening and immunizations for children. Another member of the family team is Gary D. Diedrich, a Holy Cross graduate, who specializes in many disciplines, such as diabetes and gynecology. Rounding out the team is John D. Lloyd, a University of Vermont graduate and resident expert on high blood pressure and women’s health.

The lone physician allocated to the pediatric department is Kelley J. White, a Harvard graduate who is an absolute expert in children’s health. It’s comforting to know that the children will see a familiar face, at is very important that a child feels at home with their primary care physician, and isn’t afraid to share details on their health.

  • Nursing

Sonia I. Joslin, who received her master’s degree at Rivier College, heads the nursing department. She sees both children and adults and provides gynecological exams. Next, Barbara J. Hatch received her master’s from the University of New Hampshire and applies her special interest in diabetes at the health center. Another member of the nursing team is Kimberly Fader, who recently received her master’s from Simmons College and specialized in preventive care. Finally yet importantly, Amber Lessard, also a Simmons College graduate, sees patients above the age of 18.

  • Psychology

The psychology department begins with Vincent N. Scalese, who received his degree from Western Michigan University. He will see patients 13 years and up and specializes in a full range of psychological disciplines. Tonya F. Warren, who received her doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology, treats all ages and can be seen that day if an emergency arises. The final member of the psychology team is Karen Zimmerman, who received her doctorate from Antioch University New England. Karen specializes in chronic illness management and postpartum disorders.

You must have some sort of health insurance to be treated by Mid-State Health, and as long as you do, you will not be turned away from services. If your current health insurance provider does not allow for “out of network” benefits, the patient will be responsible for the remaining balance allotted on the medical bill.
