Loyal American Insurance Products

The Loyal American Life Insurance Company has a variety of supplemental insurance policies available to help cover gaps that other insurance policies leave. As coinsurance and deductibles increase, more Americans are finding that they owe more out of pocket than they used to. The products offered by Loyal American help prevent this from happening.

The products offered by Loyal American fall under two categories. They offer plans for Medicare Supplement Insurance and Supplemental health products. These are all available through Loyal American agents.

Loyal American Insurance Medicare Supplement Insurance

The Medicare Supplement insurance offered by Loyal American is also called Medigap. This insurance fills in gaps for services that your traditional Medicare plan does not cover. Medicare Supplement insurance is only available for those who are already enrolled in Medicare.

People who have Medicare only get 80% of their doctor’s visits covered. This means that they are responsible for the other 20%. Any establishment or doctor that accepts Medicare accepts Medicare Supplement insurance plans, which means that you don’t need any referrals. The Supplement plans are also renewable for life.

Loyal American Insurance Supplemental Insurance

Supplemental insurance is offered by Loyal American Life Insurance Company in order to help cover medical expenses. If you are in an accident or diagnosed with a critical illness, often your traditional health insurance will not be able to cover all of your expenses.

Often a serious medical issue will cause you to be unable to work for a period of time. Certain insurance plans can help cover your expenses while you are out of work.

Supplemental insurance provides an extra layer of protection in addition to other existing insurance policies that you currently have, like life and health insurance. Some of the supplemental policies also provide a benefit in the form of a lump sum of money. This money can be used to pay for non- medical expenses like:

  • Groceries
  • Day care
  • Transportation
  • Bills

The different supplemental insurance policies available through Loyal American include:

  • Critical illness
  • Cancer
  • Hospital surgery
  • Hospital confinement
  • Accident
  • Heart insurance policies

Loyal American Insurance Supplemental Benefits

There is a variety of benefits to having a supplemental policy through Loyal American Life Insurance Company. One benefit is that the lump sum of money is sent directly to you and is paid even if you have other existing coverage.

Another benefit is that you are guaranteed a specific amount of money for a claim that is covered so that you don’t have any surprises. The benefits paid are also available even if you retire or change jobs.

If you have a rider on your policy known as the Return of Premium, you will receive your premium back after a specific amount of time. This is available when your policy has been in effect for 20 years of more. After this period of time you will receive 100% of what you have paid for in premiums, minus whatever claims have been paid to you.

To get a quote for any of the supplemental products offered by Loyal American Life Insurance Company, you can call an agent or you can go to the website and get an online quote.

  1. Kelly says:

“Loyal America has been very unhelpful and sneaky through this whole injury process. They are very good about reimbursement, but when it comes to explaining, they are horrible.

My doctor tried to be conservative and try going without surgery first. When I found out I had to get surgery, Loyal america was not helpful because it had been 90 days from injury date!

Let’s be real: by the time you can get in to see the doctor you want, get x-rays, make appointments for MRI’s, diagnosis, and make a decision, 90 days is easily up! I would recommend this, but unless you get treatment right away, it’s a complete waste.

To top it all off, they are very rude to you on the phone!”

  2. Tom says:

“We are involved in legal proceedings against “”Loyal American”” for their predatory practices. One of their sales agents made a cold call to our elderly mother & walked away with all her personal information and a check for $700.

She then received a mystery call telling her she was ineligible for coverage because of a cancer diagnosis, which the agent knew in talking to her. My mother’s money has not been returned.”

Insurance company that runs your premium so high after a certain age, you can’t pay it. 22 years with this company and rate went so high I had to cancel ($130.00 in 3 years.)

  4. S Crow says:

“My parents, now in their 80’s, had LOYAL AMERICAN for 37 years. They have never been late on a payment. Stricken by cancer in recent years, my mother saw specialists for over 2 years. (If you have had to go through specialist treatments then you know that doctors bills run behind, way behind, sometimes up to a year behind.)

Loyal American doesn’t understand this and have denied ALL claims associated with this illness because bills have been submitted too late. So now that my parents need their insurance the most, LOYAL AMERICAN, isn’t so loyal.

The only loyal people here were my parents in not missing or being behind in a payment. Way to stick it to your customers!”

  5. Daniel Meredith says:

“Watch for clues before using Loyal American! Like the big jar of Vaseline, rubber gloves, prepping you for a f***ing!!!

I had a wellness physical that includes all the requirements for benefit payout! Blood work, other male exams. But because it was through my work, and I didn’t pay for the physical exam they denied the claim! I’ve had no problem over the last 15 years paying the premiums to this J**** company!

I’m told it’s in the policy “”If you don’t pay we don’t pay!”””

  6. Kevin Kehoe says:

“I received this supplemental insurance when I signed up for coverage after I opened my business because my broker said it was a great company. When your sick and can’t work, they will pay your bills. I thought GREAT!!

So, for the last five years I have been paying for this, and thankfully, have not needed it. If I did need to use it, I wouldn’t know how to use it!! I have never received a membership card, I have called a number of times and spoke to several agents and NO ONE CAN FIND MY POLICY!!! Meanwhile, every month I PAY!!!

    FRUSTRATED!!!”
