As a discount healthcare program, PrudentChoice™ offers comprehensive savings by pre-arranging negotiated services with providers in the network. Since it is not health insurance, no one is denied participation and pre-existing conditions are of no consequence. The plan does not involve any deductibles and member savings will vary by doctor, services provided, and the state of the service area. There are no limits to the discounts that participants can receive. Once you enroll and receive your membership card, simply call PrudentChoice™ to confirm your provider is in the network.

Your fee for the services provided will be at a discounted rate, which you will simply pay at the time the service is rendered. There are no forms to complete or claims to process. Since there is no paperwork, there will be no record of your medical history on file at PrudentChoice™. With this health care program there are no contracts, so you may cancel your enrollment at any time without penalty. Furthermore, PrudentChoice™ offers a money back guarantee which refunds your first month’s fee provided you cancel within 45 days. The one-time processing fee, however, is not refundable.

PrudentChoice™ Healthcare Plans

The healthcare plans offered by PrudentChoice™ are available for either individuals or families. If a family plan is purchased, the discount card is good for all of the members in the household. Your savings can range from twenty to 45% for medical services, 15% to 40% for prescription drugs, 20% to 50% on dental services, 20% to 40% for vision services, and 10% to 30% savings for services rendered by a chiropractor. If mediation services are included in the plan, you may benefit from additional savings by having a professional bill negotiator try to reduce balances on your prior medical bills. You may need to pay a refundable deposit of up to $250 up front for the service, but there is no charge if the negotiator is unable to offer you savings above the deposit amount.

PrudentChoice Plus™ offers discounts for chiropractor services, dental services, medical care, vision, and pharmaceuticals for both retail and mail order pharmacies. The pharmacy discount is not a Medicare Part D plan. It also includes mediation services and a free nurse hotline that is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year. A typical cost for an individual on this plan is $59.99 per month plus a non-refundable one time processing fee of $69.00. A family plan may cost $79.99 and also has an additional non-refundable one time processing fee of $69.00.

DentalChoice Plus™ is a less inclusive healthcare savings program that is offered for a lower monthly fee. Discounts are offered for chiropractors, dental services, vision care, and pharmaceuticals for both retail and mail order pharmacies. Just like with the PrudentChoice Plus™ plan, this is not a Medicare Part D plan. The individual plan is available for approximately $14.99 per month and the family plan costs around $19.99 per month. Both the individual plan and the family plan have an additional one time processing fee of $30.00 that is not refundable in case of cancellation.

Some of the processing fees vary by state, such as in Florida and Washington the rates for the PrudentChoice Plus™ plan are monthly fees of $29.99 for an individual and $29.99 per family. Either selection has a onetime non-refundable fee of $30.00. PrudentChoiceDental Plus™ is $14.99 per month for an individual and $19.99 per family with a $30 onetime non-refundable fee. In Texas, the PrudentChoice Plus™ plan costs $59.99 per month for an individual and $79.99 per month for a family with a $59.00 onetime non-refundable processing fee. The PrudentChoiceDental Plus™ will cost an individual $14.99 per month and a family $19.99 per month. Both the individual and the family plan entail a onetime non-refundable processing fee of $30.0 PrudentChoice™ is not available in California, Illinois, Montana, or Vermont.
