Benefits under the policy include payments directly made to insured’s after the accident occurs for up to one year. The policy covers accidents related to blindness, deafness, and loss of speech.

Riders may be purchased to cover income replacement, day care coverage, therapy, and tuition reimbursement for spouses and children. Additional riders include those covering comas and paralysis.

Chartis Critical Illness Insurance

Chartis also offers Critical Illness Insurance in the event of a stroke, heart attack, cancer or other life threatening disease. Under this policy, payments are made to individuals for amounts up to $500,000. Individuals can use these payments to cover expenses however, they see fit.

Critical Illness Insurance also covers diagnostic testing and screenings for employees and their family.

Chartis Medical Excess

Chartis offers Medical Excess Insurance, which provides coverage for organ and tissue transplants. Insured’s can purchase this coverage alone or add it to another policy as a rider.

Benefits under this policy include coverage for up to one year after the transplant as well as complete coverage for expenses due to physicians, hospitals, and pharmacies. Other policies that cover less than one year are also available for purchase.

Another benefit of this policy is that there is no required deductible for in network providers. Travel expenses are also included as a benefit under this plan as well as assistance from Chartis nurses to help with coordinating the plan for transplantation.

Chartis offers Travel Insurance, which is extremely important to individuals who travel internationally. The policy covers international medical expenses, AD&D coverage, and other non-medical expenses.

Chartis Flex Shield Limited Benefit Health Program
