Avoid Beech Street at all costs. Their processing department logic is simple:

Deny all claims until someone submits a formal, hand written complaint. Deny formal hand written complaint.

A very poor company in terms of coverage, and even being reliable. I would suggest that it’s actions border on criminal behavior.

DO NOT seek coverage from them at all. They do not answer requests for appeals and one is unable to find someone to speak to of a higher authority.

As I now face a $6,000 bill that should have been honored by Beech Street, I am preparing to file a criminal complaint with the State of Georgia Insurance Commission against the company and its officers who I now consider to be running a criminal enterprise.

Avoid the entire VIANT Network.

In 2002, after what seemed a eternity, I was finally authorized to have surgery to repair my esophogus. It was to be a 23 hour stay. I was at thet time a Healthy 38 y/o. During the procedure, a complication arose and I coded( cardiac arrest) I spent 7 days in ICU and another 6 days in the hospital. Get This, Beech Street DENIED the bill from the hospital BECAUSE the hospital stay in ICU and Stay were NOT pre Authorized!!!!!! I spent 18 months and countless hours and hundreds of dollars fighting this. They eventually paid or were going to have to face off with me in court. But the damage was done and my credit was ruined. RUN FROM THESE CROOKS AS FAST AS YOU CAN

Worse people ever. Does not pay for anything. I’m supposed to have a $50 payment when going to the ER. Nope, I got the full bill and apparently they do not cover anything. Rip off artist, stay away.

So I get a call after filling out an application with Blue Cross who I am covered under, I was looking into a conversion plan, this call was from Beech Street with my quote? They told me that they recieved my application from Blue Cross, something BC does regularly when they can’t meet your needs. ‘Can’t meet my needs’ I thought, wow, they have been covering me for 10+ years and I am a very healthy person, why couldn’t they meet my needs now I thought. Refusing to fall for this, I called blue Cross asking if they forwarded my application to Beech Street. Blue Cross not only said they never forward applications but they never heard of Beech Street. So wow – these people really have quite a scam going. Trying to secure me on their plans basing everything on lies, lies, lies. Dispicable!!! Trying to scam people on their health is insane! This sales woman did everything on the planet to lock me in and not let me off the phone to look into things further. Dispicable! Anyone really determined to throw their money away, you can contact me instead of Beech Street, I’ll put it to good use
The 1 star is because I had to, so we’ll call it for effort. Otherwise, negative stars deserved!

I just talked with a sales person about Beech 3PP Network and really felt that it was a scam – especially when they told me that a $200,000 life insurance was included, among other things. All for $241/mth. I told the guy it sounded like a scam at which point he got very nasty. I talked with someone at Bluecross and asked them about Beech 3PP Network. He said they have about 5 doctors signed up in Minnesota and “you get what you pay for”. Its a big scam, don’t waste your money on them, cuz you’ll never find a doctor in your area, if anywhere. I gave it a one cuz it wouldn’t let me do a ZEROS.

Can anyone find a Beechstreet preferred provider Medical Doctor or Hospital in Maine?????? Check the Beechstreet site and help me out here. I cannot find one, not even one in all of Maine.
There are several listings but none for medical doctors, or hospitals in all of the State of Maine.

It has not been a pleasent journey going from Blue Cross to Beechstreet; however, maybe that will change.

I have gotten no help what-so-ever from Beechstreet Insurance yet, but trust that will Change. Would like to have the Gov. Change back to Blue Cross, but who can afford them. I do not thing President Obama’s health care will even help out unless it forces States to allow out of state insurers, and places cost controls on premiums and medical costs.

What is your experience with that company???
